Move Well Fitness classes are gentle exercise classes that are especially designed to be safe and effective for people (usually older adults) with long term stable health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes or obesity.
All participants work next to a chair and can do the whole class seated if necessary. The class includes seated and standing exercises to improve fitness. strength, flexibly and balance.
Sessions can help:
lower blood pressure, improve cholesterol control, manage weight, improve well being and quality of life, manage diabetes, improve balance and flexibility, improve bone mineral density with arthritis management
